Georgia vs. Nebraska – 1 p.m. ET (ABC)
So now we come down to one of the biggest game of the season. Nebraska vs. Georgia, neither team had a pretty win to make it through the championship games in their respective conferences. So, who do I think will win this game, I think there is no way ever that Nebraska will beat Georgia. I think Nebraska doesn't even have what it takes to be on the same field with Georgia.
Nebraska hasn't yet faced a team with the same kind of quarterback that Georgia has, he has passed for more than 3400 yards and 31 touchdowns. He is a straight drop back kind of player. So Murray will give them a challenge that they haven't yet faced, and he's coming into this game ranked no. 2 in the nation completing over 65 percent of his passes. Nebraska will have a hard time with any kind of containment on him!
Georgia may have some trouble with Taylor Martinez, but I'm sure they will make the adjustments quickly to contain any big runs that he might have gotten in any other game. In the championship game out of 282 yds. total, most of them came from a 76 yd scramble that Martinez made, but he won't be enough to carry the team past the Georgia Bulldogs.Nebraska's front 7 will really have to step it up to do anything with the running game that Georgia has got going on, they will have to show less hesitation, better tackling skills, and a better burst off the ball to even compete with what Georgia is going to bring.
